Adams JV defeats Troy High 58 – 50.

The Highlanders took command of this game early with full court pressure causing Troy problems taking care of the basketball. Adams dictated the tempo up and down the court in the first half and took a solid 11 pint lead into the intermission.  Adams converted well from the charity stripe in the first half (at least) shooting 8 – 9.

The second half was played pretty even and the pace slowed down in large part due to fouls. Troy cut into the Adams lead and got to within 5 points late in the game. The Highlanders kept their composure even though only shooting 7 – 20 from the free throw line in the second half.  Chalk up another victory which moves Adams record to 5 -2.
