Adams takes it to
the house against Rochester!
The O'rena at Oakland University was filled just short of the Fire
Marshal's limit Friday night where the noisy crowd cheered on an
exceptional defensive and offensive game for the Adams Varsity.
The Highlander girls opened the
two game evening, which included dance and cheer teams from both
schools, both the Adams and Rochester Pep bands, and the great O'rena
sight lines which make for the best entertainment you can find for $5!
Thanks to everyone who came out.
The Cross Town Show Down has quickly established itself as one of the
must-see events of the winter sports season. We would also like to

The annual Alumni game
was played Wednesday December 26. A group of veteran
players came back to challenge the current Adams Varsity squad.
It was a
close game through four quarters. The Varsity team was able to
eek out a
victory 58-54 against a tough group of alumni who still got
game. |

Congratulations to Tyler Newsom who
was selected for the Academic All State Basketball team by
BCAM (Basketball Coaches
Association of Michigan). Eligible players had to be
selected to the Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, or BCAM All State team
(including honorable mention) and have a minimum GPA of 3.5. |
